Pine Thinning  

    Pine plantation thinnings are a common practice during the crop rotation period. Typicaly thinnings will take place in two stages throught the crop rotation period.

Landowners benefit from thinnings by creating income. Also, increasing the health of the trees which in turn reduces changes of Southern Pine Beetle and insect infestation and disease.
